SYNOPSIS



Simple Things
Sergei Maslov, an anesthetist at a state hospital in Moscow, trying to cope with the ups and downs of daily life, but everything will begin to improve when he starts to care for an old actor once was a big star.

BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1972 in Russia, this young director began his film career in 2003 with the film together with director Boris Koktebel Khlebnitov. The film achieved a certain international repercussions, and in 2007 held his first solo film, Simple Things.

This year, he presented in the Official Selection Berlin Film Festival his latest film, How I Ended this Summer (2010), thanks to which Sergei Puskepalis and Grigoriy Dobrygin were awarded in the Best Performance Award (Silver Bear).
